LOS ANGELES -- Police are asking for the public's help in locating a paroled sex offender who has removed his GPS monitoring device.
49-year-old John Howard Marble is considered extremely dangerous and frequents the area of Van Nuys Boulevard, also known as Van Nuys corridor.
On Tuesday, January 4th, 2011, at 1:30 p.m., corrections agents received a notification on Marble indicating his GPS monitoring device has been removed or tampered with.
Parole agents responded to the 10900 block of Sutter Avenue in Pacoima and discovered the parolee's cut GPS monitor device underneath his bed.
Marble is described as a White man with blonde hair and blue eyes.
