Wise Intelligent Talks "Illuminati" And Why Jay-Z's Membership Is Irrelevant

Exclusive: The former Poor Righteous Teachers front-man breaks down the meaning behind his thought-provoking new music.

Following the release earlier this month of his third solo studio album, The Unconkable Djezuz Djonez, HipHopDX reached out to Wise Intelligent so the lead emcee of one of the 1990s' most celebrated collectives, Poor Righteous Teachers, could explain the thought process behind his much talked about new single, “Illuminati”

Following the release earlier this month of his third solo studio album, The Unconkable Djezuz Djonez, HipHopDX reached out to Wise Intelligent so the lead emcee of one of the 1990s' most celebrated collectives, Poor Righteous Teachers, could explain the thought process behind his much talked about new single, “Illuminati” .

Speaking to DX on Wednesday, the author of countless cerebral classics (“Rock Dis Funky Joint,” “Nobody Move” and “Word Iz Life” just to name a few) provided some insight into two of the thought-provoking tracks included on the follow-up to 2007’s The Talented Timothy Taylor. First, the New Jersey native who utilized one of the most seamless flows in Hip Hop history to drop jewels for the “Gods, Earths and 85ers” explained why Jay-Z and other rappers could not be part of the Illuminati. Lastly, Wise addressed lyrics from “Water Walker,” explaining why “Obama is wearing a McDonald’s uniform.”

HipHopDX: Your new joint, “Illuminati,” addresses [Jay-Z’s] long-rumored ties to that secret society, but you dismiss his inclusion in the Illuminati, or any other rapper’s for that matter, as ridiculous. Why?

Wise Intelligent: I’m not dismissing inclusion, what I’m saying is it’s irrelevant if they are. What would be the point? The Illuminati…goes way back to the Crusades, and way back before that. These people were about world conquest and world domination. And they’ve already dominated and conquered the world, and [so] there’s no need to have a card carrying rapper member. What is the point? There’s no point in it. What is the criteria? What would he be doing that would benefit an apparatus that has already conquered the world? I don’t understand that; that just doesn’t make sense to me.

I think we need to focus more attention on the fact that public schools are being shut down intentionally, to disenfranchise many urban youth, from whom Hip Hop came. If this is about Hip Hop and the youth that created Hip Hop and where Hip Hop comes from, and everybody talking about “this is where Hip Hop lives,” we need to be focusing our attention on what’s happening to the children that produced Hip Hop, that brought Hip Hop to the world. And we’re not even talking about that, we’re talking about Jay-Z. It’s like, yo, Jay-Z is ill, Jay-Z is probably the illest emcee that ever wrote rhymes, but when we get right down to it, if we talking about the Illuminati…we need to get into what’s happening in plain view.

My point was to bring the Illuminati out of the boogieman space. It’s not a boogieman; it’s legislators that are right now passing legislation that disenfranchises so many people. We’re talking about 1% of the population in America controlling 50% of the wealth, controlling more wealth than 50% of the people here. We have 10% of the people all over the world making life miserable for 90% of the world and [all] we wanna talk about is Jay-Z gay, is Kanye gay? Are they in this secret society? It’s not a secret society, it’s right in your face. Everything they’re doing is right in your face. Everything.

So, let’s deal with that; let’s deal with those things. Let’s deal with all the sterilization programs they have going on around the world. Let’s talk about that. Let’s talk about the overthrowing of Egypt. Let’s talk about the overthrowing of the Middle East right now. Let’s talk about that! We don’t wanna discuss these things. Let’s talk about how mainstream corporations control what we see and hear everyday.

So my whole thing about the “Illuminati” [song], it’s about a protest – protesting disenfranchisement of the large majority of the population of this planet. That’s the bottom line. So Jay-Z don’t have nothing to do with that. Jay-Z didn’t start the eugenics programs. Jay-Z didn’t do that.

DX: You mentioned protest music…do you have any objections to Lupe Fiasco declaring on his latest single “Words I Never Said” that “Limbaugh is a racist, Glenn Beck is a racist / Gaza Strip was gettin’ bombed, Obama didn’t say shit / That’s why I ain’t vote for him, next one either”?

Wise Intelligent: That’s some powerful shit. I love Lupe Fiasco. I love Lupe Fiasco because he keeping it real, and that’s what Hip Hop is for me. Hip Hop is the other side of the story. Hip Hop is not the official mainstream story that becomes the official story. Hip Hop is, Nah man, Amadou Diallo didn’t have a gun; he had a wallet. Nah, Oscar Grant wasn’t resisting arrest. Nah, Barack – c’mon Barack, you gave $800 million to the prison industrial complex. Why? When you know that there’s a predatory system that targets inner city youth.

So…yes, yes, I support everything in that line right there. If Lupe Fiasco said it, if that’s what he said, yes, I agree. He has the right to say those things. I think that they need to be said. And they need to be able to be said in the mainstream platforms – from everywhere, from HipHopDX to Clear Channel. It needs to be propagated; it needs to be put out there. That’s the other side. And that’s what Hip Hop was from the beginning; it was the other side of the story. And that’s what’s missing right now. It’s not that heads are not making conscious music anymore, it’s because mainstream corporations don’t want it on the air – for what it is, and for what it has the ability to do. Same thing that happened in Egypt; Hip Hop has the ability to do that. It was Hip Hop that moved those kids in South Africa to confront apartheid. So let’s keep it real official, man. Lupe Fiaco’s keeping it official.

DX: Is President Obama part of the “wickedness in high places” you’re speaking on in “Water Walker”?

Wise Intelligent: This the thing with President Obama, for me, President Obama is just like a superintendent in a public school district that has been setup to fail. In other words, he’s inherited a sinking ship.

Better example: he’s like all the black mayors in the inner cities around the country. Like here in Trenton, [former] Mayor Douglas Palmer…became the mayor of Trenton after the municipal budgets were already bankrupt, [and] after white flight and white people had fled out of the inner cities and shifted the funding from the inner city to these suburbs. So now the kids are not getting the funding that they need for adequate education and things of that nature. Now they redlined the whole inner city. Now that the white people left…all the banks and investors redlined the city, and now you can’t develop the city any further than a mom-and-pop chicken shop. Everything’s dilapidated. The public schools here in Trenton – we haven’t had a new public school [built] since like 1932. I’m serious. It’s like, yo, this school is like 85 years old. The school is almost a hundred years old. The high school here is the only high school in the city. So, we have to really pay attention to that. When the mayor took office it was already a wrap. The white legislators who control the legislature, they shift the politics. They shift everything to the suburbs. Everything went to the benefit of these new suburbs and gated communities that they built outside of Trenton, New Jersey.

And that’s what Barack Obama has done: he’s inherited a sinking ship just like the mayors of Trenton, just like the superintendents of these black public school districts. They’ve inherited sinking ships that they can’t fix. They can’t fix it, because you have legislators who are above them. You have people who are above them who are not gonna allow it. When you look at the House [of Representatives], you have like 300 white congressmen to about 42 black congress people. So the interests and concerns of the black masses in America will not be met because they always will stack their vote against it. I don’t care what happens.

Just like with the crack versus powder [cocaine] laws, the mandatory sentencing, the Rockefeller [Laws] – all of these laws that came up before the house as unfair and unjust laws, they ruled against changing these laws back in I believe it was 1995. But when LSD was brought under the guise of unfairness, they said it’s unfair. And a lot of white kids who predominately deal with LSD were let out of jail and shortened their sentences. And a lot of people don’t know about that because that never made mainstream [news coverage]. And the reason that our community don’t know about it is because they won’t let my songs on the radio! And the mainstream Hip Hop websites won’t discuss it honestly.

Back to what Obama is…Obama has inherited a sinking ship. America is what it is; America was on this course since 1913 when they set up the Federal Reserve Bank. The economy was centralized then. And now we’re seeing the results of that; we’re seeing the results of that centralizing of America’s economy. That’s what Thomas Jefferson said: don’t let ‘em centralize the economy; we don’t want a central bank here. He said the bankers are gonna ruin the country. And that’s what happened.

So, at the end of the day, Obama is wearing a McDonald’s uniform. He comes to work, [and] he punches the clock. He can’t come in there and say, I have this olive oil. We gonna fry these fries in olive oil from here on out. And they like, No! We ain’t frying in olive oil. The people ain’t complaining about fries cooked in 10w40 motor oil, so we’re not changing it. This is what we’re using. So, it’s what it is. You can’t change the rules at McDonald’s. You gotta wear the uniform, punch in and punch out.

Juvenile Arrested And Charged For Possession Of Marijuana

Rapper Juvenile arrested in Sterlington, Louisiana, charged with possession and driving with a suspended license.

According to the Associated Press, Louisiana rapper Juvenile was arrested in Sterlington, Louisiana over the weekend after being pulled over for speeding. Upon being pulled over the arresting officer detected the smell of marijuana and when asked about the scent Juvenile handed over a small bag of marijuana.

"He was very courteous and respectful as he could be,” Sterlington Police Sgt. Jacob Greer explained to the AP. “He asked me if I recognized him, and I said `No. Now if you were George Strait I'll probably have recognized you.'"

On top of being charged with simple possession of marijuana Juvenile was also charged with driving with a suspended license.

Juvenile was released from jail after posting a $750 cash bond; he’s currently scheduled for an April 1 court date.

Last weekend’s arrest is just one of several arrests the rapper has dealt with in the last few years. Just last year Juvenile was arrested after police found marijuana in a home recording studio he was working in. The arrest resulted in three months in jail, six month’s probation, and a $250 fine.

Jim Jones Sued By Two Women Over Topless Scenes In 'Summer Time' Video

Capo may have to pay consequences for filming two topless women on a public Florida beach.

Two women are taking Jim Jones to court for the release of his "Summer Time" snippet video, which featured them topless on a Miami beach. The women, Sharie Johnson and Samantha Stotts, claim that they were aware they were being filmed, but did not grant the rapper authorization to distribute the images.

"They knew they were being filmed," the womens' lawyer, Taso Pardalis, told the New York Daily News. "But they didn't know they were going to be used in a video without their permission."

Johnson and Stotts also name Sony Music Entertainment in the suit, and demand that the snippet be taken off of Youtube and other sites. "They were prancing about in the water and in the moment, they kind of went along with it," explained Pardalis. "But you can see one of the girls in the video cover up immediately when she realized they were being filmed."

Jim Jones said recently that he will soon be shooting a full-length video for the song, but has not yet commented on the suit.

T.I., MTV and Atlanta funeral home sued for showing body in reality show

The King of the South faces legal action for allegedly causing mental pain and suffering and emotional distress.

The suit, filed by the family of Joseph Williams, contends that his father, Joseph Williams Sr., and other relatives suffered mental distress after footage of his body was shown in a February 2009 episode of the MTV reality show "T.I's Road to Redemption."

A funeral home employee made a false statement, "stating that the parents didn't know what happened to their son," says the lawsuit, which was filed Wednesday in Fulton County State Court.

The Haugabrooks Funeral Home on Auburn Avenue near downtown Atlanta is listed among the defendants. The company was paid to cremate the body, the suit says. A representative was not immediately available for comment Friday. Neither was T.I., whose real name is Clifford J. Harris Jr. He is in a federal prison in Arkansas on weapons convictions, with a scheduled release date in September.

The premise of the reality show was to scare youths into leading crime-free lives.

In the first episode, entitled "You Are Responsible For Your Own Actions," Harris shows a young man a corpse at Haugabrooks. A mortician says the man was a "hustler" and says the man's parents don't know how he really died. The face of the dead man is out of focus in the video that was available online at MTV's website Friday.

The lawsuit contends that Harris, the funeral home, MTV and the others involved in the making of the video "carelessly mishandled" the body "for financial gain and publicity." It seeks unspecified damages for mental pain and suffering and emotional distress.

Wiz Khalifa Shoots Down Tyga Beef & Addresses Natilie Nunn

Wiz Khalifa says there will be no beef between himself and Tyga—or any other rapper for that matter. There were rumors of a feud between the two artists after a misinterpretation of the following line from Wiz’s song “Ink My Whole Body:”

“Body marked up like a subway in Harlem / Niggas say it’s hard white people say it’s awesome / Chest neck tatted / Whole sleeve on my arm done / They say I look like Tyga man / I put some lime in Swisher Sweet and twist it all up…”

But during an interview with Hot 97’s Funkmaster Flex, Wiz cleared the matter up, adding that he hoped to record with Tyga.

“Me and him never, ever, ever had a problem,” Wiz said. “There was always a little bit of a comparison just between our look—us having tattoos and stuff like that. But that was early in the game. I think our fans and people have just separated us naturally—just that same little competition thing came back up. People were wanting that beef to be there and taking his lines out of context in some of his songs. And when I said his name in that song, I didn’t say it in a negative way. But just the fact that I was saying it, people was taking it as I was beefing with him. Then when I stopped saying it, they took it as I was beefing with him too.”

There may be no such reconciliation with former reality television performer Natalie Nunn. The one-time cast member of Oxygen’s “Bad Girl’s Club” has been making the rounds insulting Wiz Khalifa and his rumored new love interest Amber Rose. Wiz confirmed meeting Nunn in Pittsburgh, but expressed dismay at why she would go on a tirade against him.

“She was way cooler than she seemed on TV; I gave her the benefit of the doubt, and I was nothing but nice to her,” Wiz added. “It was a good first meeting. Down the line, I don’t know where it got messed up. And this is a short amount of time that we’re talking about too. It’s just real unfortunate, because I’m such a positive person. So it kind of sucked when I get on there and see her talking so bad. I’m not the first rapper that she’s ever met before.

Naughty By Nature To Drop First Album Since 2002

Naughty by Nature have set a May 17 release for their first studio album since 2002's IIcons, Anthem Inc.

The album, which will drop on Illtown Records, signifies the 20th anniversary of the group, as well as the 15th anniversary of its Grammy for Best Rap album, the first of its kind.

"Anthem Inc. is our way of saying thank you to our incredibly loyal, global fan base for their support over the last 20 years," said Vin Rock of the release. "With a few classic tracks re-recorded and brand new bangers, the album will give listeners a 'Then and Now' perspective of our career.

The group began promotion by performing a medley of songs, in addition to their new single "Flags," on "Late Show with David Letterman".

Their latest single, "Flags," has been released in two video versions, the "Life Cut" and the "Death Cut," which contain alternate endings. The former guest stars Ice-T, as he helps the video's protagonist make the smart decision and get out of the street life. In the latter, the character is not so lucky.

"The 'Death Cut' depicts what occurs when one makes bad decisions in the face of adversity," explained Vin Rock. "Unfortunately, this is the reality youth are facing across America. We will use both versions to open up the dialogue in our community. We must step up to curb the self-inflicted genocide in our culture."

Naughty by Nature will be going on tour this year, making stops in the U.S., Europe and Australia.

Juelz Santana Arrested After Drug Raid, Bail. Was Set At $125K

Juelz Santana was arrested after police found marijuana and weapons in his New Jersey recording studio last month. He was taken into custody on four counts of narcotic and weapons charges.

According to Bergen County police officials, who had been investigating Santana for 10 months, two fully loaded handguns, ammunition, and 17 Ziploc bags of "a greenish brown vegetation consistent with the appearance of marijuana," were found during the raid. Santana has been charged with possession of a handgun without having a permit, possession with intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance within 1,000 feet of a school zone, and two other similar counts.  His bail was set at $125,000.

After the raid last month, the Dipset member told Chicago's Power 92, "It's been some legal issue, I know it's been all over the Internet. Police ran up in my studio. I had to deal with that and a couple of things." He also said he felt as if he was being targeted by police officials. "They always picking on me. That's the best way I can put it. But by the graces of God, everything should be OK. I wasn't caught with anything in my possession."

Wife Speaks Out On Arrest

HOT 97 DJ Funkmaster Flex and his wife Monica-Joseph Taylor have finally addressed a recent incident in which Flex was arrested at his Westchester home at the request of Taylor. Both Funkmaster Flex and Taylor remained relatively brief when addressing the incident.

"We're doing okay…I would love everyone to respect the privacy of my family - for me and my children," said Taylor when approached by reporters outside her home, reports NYDailyNews.com.

And when asked for more details on the incident between herself and Funkmaster Flex Taylor responded, "You'd have to buy me dinner."

Funkmaster Flex also shared his thoughts on the arrest at an event.

"Yes, we had words," Flex explained to the audience. "Yes, there was an argument. Yes, there was a phone broken. Yes, there were police called. I love my fans, and I encourage all of them to work things out in their own marriages"

Funkmaster Flex was arrested early morning Friday when a woman claimed that he pushed her, threatened to break her cell phone, and threatened to harm her. Flex was later released from jail on $500 bail.

Taylor and Funkmaster Flex have been together for over a decade and currently have two children together.

Fabolous Accused Of Assaulting Atlanta Busboy

Octavious Butler, a busboy at Atlanta’s Fox Sports Grill, is charging Fabolous with assault, after he claims the Brooklyn rapper struck him with both a glass bottle and his fist. The incident allegedly happened during Fab’s recent visit to Georgia, and the suit was filed in the Fulton County Superior Court.

Butler alleges the 31-year-old Fabolous, real name John Jackson, and another man attacked him without being provoked. Butler is seeking an undisclosed amount of damages in his suit. At this time neither Fabolous, his label, Def Jam Records, or Butler have publicly addressed the accsations

J-Kwon Paid Child Support for a Child That's Not His

The "Tipsy" rapper recently learned that the child he's been supporting for the past seven years isn't actually his.

J-Kwon recently made headlines when he explained the reason behind his supposed disappearance last year. The rapper behind the hit single "Tipsy" called into St. Louis's 89.9 FM KMOJ and said that he was actually behind bars last year due to remiss child support payments.

According to HipHopWired.com, J-Kwon had been paying $2,500 a month in child support payments for the past seven years. Now out of jail, the rapper has learned that the child he was supporting isn't even his biological son. He says that although he feels this incident hurt his career, he's simply happy to be free and have his life back.

“I blame my absence from the game on this situation," he said. "Just as I was getting my first million dollar check, a girl came to me and said she was pregnant...I bought her a house cause she's from the hood too, I let her stay at the house. I guess while I'm on tour she's taking paper work from the courts and disposing of them…the payment ended up being $2,500 a month…this kid looked like someone else, the test results came back in 24 hours and I am not the father...I don't feel any better or any worse about the situation, I'm just happy to have my life back."

J-Kwon also said that he hopes to be able to help other men in similar situations. He's planning to start a foundation that will help fathers making child support payments prevent getting schemed.

"I'm gonna start a foundation just for that, that's crazy that the law helps someone scheme you for this long because A, you're young, B, you're successful, and C, they don't want you with it no way," he said.

Jay-Z Wants Some "Black & Yellow"

"Black & Yellow" producers Stargate talk producing for Wiz Khalifa and taking requests from Jay-Z

Tor Erik Hermansen and Mikkel S. Eriksen aren't names you typically hear in Hip Hop. That is because the Norwegian duo known as Stargate are just making their way into the genre after adding a few pop hits to their resume (Beyonce’s “Irreplaceable,” Rihanna’s “What’s My Name,” and Katy Perry’s “Firework” to name a few). After producing Wiz Khalifa's double-platinum single "Black & Yellow" and his latest "Roll Up," expect that to change.

The duo spoke to Complex about how "Black & Yellow" went down and fielding requests from none other than Jay-Z.

“We first heard about him from [our manager] Tim. I don’t know where Tim heard about him, but one day Tim came in and played us some mixtape stuff," Hermansen said. "We were just blown away by his flow, and also his musicality. I think we heard instantly that he had a melodic sense in his approach to writing music, but also in the tracks he chose, and that they had some movement in them."

“Tim was talking about Wiz way back, at least a year before we actually worked together, Eriksen added. "‘Black And Yellow’ was the second song we wrote. Even back then, just listening to the hook and the beat, we could tell that this was something great from the beginning.”

“He came with his crew, and they all had a blast," Hermansen continued. "The whole Taylor Gang...He stayed here all night and finished up his verses. We stayed, and made sure that the hook was 100 percent. We worked three or four days I think. We did probably about three or four songs the first session, and then two or three others the second session. ‘Black And Yellow’ took probably about a day. 12 hours. He wasn’t in the booth for 12 hours. He wrote everything here, but who knows. He may have had that idea, and just waited for the right track. I think he did the hook on that one first actually. And we kind of went back and forth a little bit, on the structure, but it was all him pretty much in one go. And he did his verses. I don’t think he even went back and re-recorded anything. What you hear is what he did."

The Norwegians have produced for Nas in the past ("America" and "Not Going Back"), and may move on to his former rival and boss. "We have people coming to us all the time now. Jay-Z actually came up to me the other day and said ‘I need one of those ‘Black and Yellow’ beats for J. Cole.’ [Laughs.] And then he said, ‘Shit, I need one of those ‘Black and Yellow’ beats for myself.’ So we were like ‘You know where to find us.’”

Rick Ross Welcomes Wale To Maybach Music

With $44,000 Cartier Watch

In the wake of confirming signing Wale as the latest artist signed to Maybach Music Group, Rick Ross continued the fanfare through Super Bowl XLV weekend in Dallas, Texas. Appearing with Wale, Rick Ross made a Sean John appearance and participated in the festivities.

Captured on video by Maybach Films, Ross and Wale met with "TV" Johnny Dang, longtime jewelry-maker and Grillz partner with Paul Wall. In addition to a new Maybach medallion, Ross gave Wale a black diamond Cartier watch, which according to TV Johnny, is worth $44,000.

While Ross would not reveal in a brief on-camera conversation where Maybach Music is signing its newest distribution deal, Wale did speak about the creative freedoms being associated with the boutique label will allow him. "Being at a 'major label' - 'cause there's no such thing as a major label...and saying I want to put out [songs with substance], instead of having somebody say, 'Nah, black people ain't gonna believe that. That's not what they want from you,' I can be like, 'Rozay, my heart is in this record right now.' [He will respond with] 'Let's do it.'"

In 2009, Wale released his debut album, Attention: Deficit on Interscope/Allido Records. The album was included in HipHopDX's "Top 25 Albums of 2009."

Rihanna's "S&M" Video Banned in 11 Countries

I Thought Sex Sales (What's Different Now)

She may be bad, but Rihanna's apparently a little too perfectly good at it. The singer's newfound "bad girl" image has recently gotten her into a bit of trouble, as a growing number of countries have banned her racy new video for her song "S&M," and two major media outlets are taking its content into serious consideration.

According to NME.com, the recently released video - which features simulated sex with a blow-up doll and Rihanna leading popular gossip blogger Perez Hilton around on a dog leash - has been banned in 11 different countries. In addition, the UK's BBC Radio 1 refuses to play the song before 7 PM due to its explicit lyrical content.

Yet "S&M" isn't just taking the heat from abroad. YouTube has flagged the video as inappropriate for viewers under the age of 18. MTV was reportedly considering re-editing the video for broadcast, although reps from the network have since gone on the record saying that the rumor was untrue.

Rihanna fired back via Twitter earlier today, saying that the video's content is no more controversial than that in the video to her 2007 single "Umbrella," which featured the singer nude in silver body paint. She has also posted the video in its original form on her website

This dude is Sick: "Kensington Strangler" suspect Antonio Rodriguez: I had sex with victims after they were dead

Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty for the man who allegedly has confessed to being Philadelphia’s dreaded Kensington Strangler, officials said Wednesday.

The announcement was made during a preliminary hearing in which police read confessions signed by the suspected killer, Antonio Rodriguez. In the statements he admitted to killing three women, as well as having sex with at least two of them after they were dead.

The Kensington Strangler is believed to have murdered Elaine Goldberg, 21, Nicole Piacentini, 35, and Casey Mahoney, 27, between November and December of last year. The slayings sparked fears of vigilante justice in Philadelphia’s Kensington area, where outraged residents had vowed to catch the killer.

In the confessions, Rodriguez allegedly claims to have approached the women as if they were prostitutes. They agreed to have sex with him, but each encounter took a violent turn.

Rodriguez said he didn't mean to kill Goldberg. The nursing student was found dead in early November.

"I asked her if she liked to be choked, and she said yes," the confession said, according to the Philadelphia Weekly. “I began to choke her with my left hand, and she told me to use both hands."

Shortly after that, it states, she stopped moving. "She didn't let me know ... she couldn't breathe."

When he realized the woman was dead, Rodriguez allegedly panicked and ran, although the confession suggests he may have continued to have sex with her body after she died.

As for Piacentini, who was found dead less than two weeks later, the confession states Rodriguez didn't stop even after he was "pretty sure" she was dead from the choking.

"I wasn't done with her," he said.

Mahoney was found dead on Dec. 15. Rodriguez allegedly admits he punched her several times, choked her until "she wasn't moving anymore" and violated her body.

Rodriguez is charged with three counts of murder and rape. The 22-year-old was arrested in January after an anonymous caller tipped off police to his location minutes after a press conference naming him as a suspect.

Along with his confessions, prosecutors said DNA evidence links him to the crimes.

RIP TO THE VICTIMS...

Stop The Violence: Ex-lover shows up at Queens pharmacy with flowers, fatally shoots mother-of-two in head, Kills Self

A jilted ex-lover with a bouquet of flowers walked into a Queens pharmacy Thursday and killed the mother of his two children with a gunshot to the head, police and witnesses said.

Hours after the shocking Long Island City murder, police found Alexander Figueroa, 38, dead by his own hand inside an apartment blocks away, sources said.

Figueroa shot himself in the head after he allegedly killed his ex-girlfriend, Guimmia Villa, 32, inside Crescent Chemists, Inc. on 34th Ave. about 3:45 p.m., police sources said.

Figueroa, an ex-con, stepped inside the store with a bouquet of red and yellow flowers and asked to speak with Villa, who works as a cashier, police and witnesses said.

"They talk and then I heard 'Pop!'" said witness Maria Lombar, 65. "I saw her on the ground. She went down dead. Blood was all over."

Villa was transported to Mount Sinai Hospital, where she died.

The couple, who had two children - Alexander, 9, and Nelson, 6 - was known for their volatile relationship, sources said. Villa had an order of protection placed on Figueroa in Nassau County in April 2009, which expires next April.

Another was placed on the Figueroa in Queens last year and expired last month, sources said.

"He didn't respect that," said Maria Dinorah Reinoso, a family friend. "He was threatening her over the phone. He wanted to kill her."

Figueroa - who served time for attempted robbery and possession of a weapon convictions - was once busted for breaking the stay away orders.

On Nov. 30, 2009, the two had a heated argument in Queens. He repeatedly pushed Villa before taking her cell phone and wallet, sources said. He was later charged with petit larceny, harassment and criminal contempt.

"She was just trying to be a good mom and he took that away from her," said friend Tina Davis, 25. "I didn't like him very much."

Man dies from Cock Stabbing!

DELANO, Calif. -- A man attending an illegal cockfight died after being stabbed by a rooster.

The incident occurred during a cockfight in which birds are strapped with razor-like knives to fight each other, often times to their death.

The Kern County coroner says 35-year-old Jose Luis Ochoa was declared dead at a hospital about two hours after he suffered the injury.

An autopsy concluded Ochoa died of an accidental "sharp force injury" to his right calf.

Cockfighting is a sport, illegal in the United States, in which specially bred roosters are put into a ring and encouraged to fight until one is incapacitated or killed.

According to the Bakersfield Californian, this was not the victim's first cockfight.

Last year, Ochoa paid $370 in fines after pleading no contest to one count of owning or training an animal for fighting, according to Kern County Superior Court records.

Now lets hope the matador gets gored to death...the dog fighter gets attacked and killed...they can all drop dead and the world will be a better place.

You Tryna Get Dat Money Huh!: 21-year old Female Drug Mule with 50 Condoms full of Cocaine

A young woman was busted drug smuggling charges after cops said she swallowed nearly a pound of cocaine before boarding a flight from the Dominican Republic and landing in Boston.

Cops said New Jersey resident Luisa Gill, 21, swallowed 50 condoms packed full of cocaine carrying a street value of approximately $50,000, then hopped on the JetBlue flight Saturday.

Customs agents at Boston's Logan Airport questioned Gill after noticing see seemed jittery.

Gill eventually admitted she had ingested the drugs and was taken to a local hospital where doctors retrieved the stash.

Authorities said the situation wasn't uncommon – drug mules have been ferrying drugs into Mexico and South America for decades – but the size of the load was shocking.

"That's a lot of dope," former DEA agent Chris Egan told Boston's Fox 25.

Egan said it was possible that she took shots of olive oil to lubricate her throat before swallowing the packages.

Gill was scheduled to be arraigned in East Boston District Court on Monday.

Keep It Private: Law Would Change Penalty for Sexting

A new bill was proposed Monday that would allow prosecutors to charge teenagers caught sexting with a misdemeanor instead being tried as an adult.

Under the current law, prosecutors could charge those in possession of sexual images of a minor can be charged with possession of child pornography and be tried as adults even if they are juveniles. The new bill would allow prosecutors to treat some of these cases a juvenile misdemeanor offense.

Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott and state Senator Kirk Watson both came out in support of the bill on Monday.

"Our goal is not to put more teens behind bars but to try to prevent this kind of conduct from taking place, and if it does take place resolve it in ways as quickly as possible that will minimize the damage to these teens going forward,” Abbott said.

"Teens who receive unsolicited, receive this type of image, if they report it to law enforcement within 48 hours, they will have an affirmative defense to the offense of possession, of this material,” Watson said.

The legislation would make sexting a picture of a minor a class C misdemeanor that could be upgraded to a more serious charge. It requires school districts to provide warnings about sexting to students and parents in places like school handbooks and websites. A judge can order an offender and their parents to a class about the dangers of sexting.

If approved by state lawmakers, the law would take effect in September.

Chris Brown -- Hearing Had Zero to Do with Grammys

Chris Brown is not attending this year's Grammy Awards -- so the idea that he was in court to try and have the restraining order against him reduced just so he could go (and not risk running into Rihanna ) is way off base ... this according to his rep.
As part of the Rihanna assault case, Brown's attorney asked the judge yesterday to reduce the "stay away" order against him to a "do not annoy" order. Doing so would have removed the part about Brown having to stay 50 yards away from RiRi. Ultimately, while the judge again praised Brown for his progress, the ruling was put off until a later date because an attorney for Rihanna could not be reached.
As for the idea that this hearing has anything to do with Brown going to the Grammys ... Tammy Brook, a rep for Brown, tells TMZ, "This court date and the lifting of the restraining order is part of the planned ongoing legal proceedings. The date was scheduled months ago. Chris Brown is very thankful for his Grammy nominations, but due to scheduling conflicts, he will not be attending the Grammys."

What Sentence Would You Have Gotten

Bruno Mars has cut a deal with the Clark County District Attorney's Office, in which Mars will not have a conviction on his record for his Las Vegas cocaine arrest ... TMZ has learned. Sources tell TMZ ... the D.A. has agreed to a "deferred adjudication" -- translation ... if he stays out of trouble for 12 months and does a little community service, it's like nothing ever happened.
Mars was arrested in September at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, after a bathroom attendant ratted him out and told security there was a man in a stall doing drugs. Under the deal, which attorney Blair Berk orchestrated with prosecutors,  Mars will do 200 hours of community service and undergo private counseling. At the end of the 12-month period, the felony will be officially dismissed.

Registered Sex Offender Allowed to Read to Kids at Local School

WHITTIER (KTLA) -- A registered sex offender has been arrested for violating parole, after he walked into a school in Whittier and offered to read to children.

John Davis, 56, was taken into custody Wednesday at his home after a 3 month investigation.

Last November, authorities say the former Army major, showed up at Los Altos Elementary School and volunteered to read to the school children at a "Heroes Day" event on Veteran's Day.

The school didn't know Davis was a convicted sex offender, and allowed him to read to students.

Deputies at the Norwalk Sheriff's Station discovered what had happened after running a routine sex offender check.

Davis was released on bail late Thursday.

He was convicted in San Diego County in 2000 of attempted lewd acts with a child under the age of 14.

Davis is a retired Army Major and former White House official during the Clinton administration.
Davis was not part of a background check because he was a volunteer for the school.

Buyer Beware: Denver Woman Accused of Knowingly Spreading HIV

DENVER (FOXNews.com) - A 45-year-old Denver woman has been arrested and accused of knowingly spreading HIV while allegedly working as a prostitute, FOXNews.com reported Wednesday.

Prosecutors say Frances Woodke -- who has known for years that she is HIV positive -- offered sex to an undercover police officer for $23.

Woodke is being charged with two misdemeanors, prostitution and solicitation for prostitution, and a felony count of prostitution with knowledge of AIDS, according to KDVR-TV.

The woman has pleaded guilty twice before to attempted prostitution with knowledge of AIDS -- spending time in prison for the charges in 2000 and again in 2008, according to the Denver district attorney's office.

"It's going to be difficult for us on the law enforcement side to identify people she put at risk -- if there are people she put at risk," said Lynn Kimbrough, a spokeswoman for the Denver district attorney's office.

Woodke could face up to three years in prison if she is found guilty.

Always A New Way to Get High: Kids Getting High Using "Bath Salts"

LOS ANGELES (KTLA) -- Los Angeles City Councilmember Paul Koretz is calling for a city ban on the sale and use of so-called "bath salts," saying they're hazardous designer drugs that are currently legally available in stores and online.

Recently, there has been an influx of reports of dangerous and sometimes deadly incidents stemming from the consumption and abuse of the powdery substance, either through smoking, injection or snorting.

Health experts say "bath salts" are powerful synthetic stimulants, designed to be comparable to cocaine or methamphetamine, and with similar risks.

The alleged effects include rapid heart beat, an intense high, euphoria, extreme energy, hallucinations, delirium, insomnia, psychosis, paranoia, suicidal thoughts, chest pain, heart attack and stroke.

"Bath Salts" come in small packets and can cost anywhere form $25 to $40. They're sold online, at convenience stores and head shops.

Koretz introduced the motion at a meeting Tuesday night, saying, "What's very clear is that there's a growing and potentially severe problem, yet to be adequately addressed, regarding the easy, legal availability of the innocent sounding 'bath salts.' Right now, only a limited number of jurisdictions in our country, including a small number of states, have instituted any actual laws, and so regulatory and legislative steps need to be taken. This motion is one step in that direction."

The stimulants are not yet regulated by the Drug Enforcement Agency but warning are being issued by law enforcement and poison control centers.
